A GOSPEL OF ADOPTION

Christ has called us, not in a spirit of slavery, but one of adoption. (Romans 8) He has pursued us and liberated us from the pit and crowned us with praise. (Psalm 103) When we had no belonging, Christ gave us belonging in Himself and welcomes us in as children of God.

So how can we not extend this beautiful picture of the Gospel in our families. Orphan Care is a core part of our church. We desire to labor until every orphan has a home.

Each one of us is called to Orphan Care in some capacity. Pray for those in the adoption process and support them. Give financially so that those in the Church can adopt. And prayerfully consider adopting a child into your home.

Give.

An easy way to help support orphan care efforts is to give financially. The money given to support local and international orphan care is an investment in changing the trajectory of many children for eternity. Prayerfully consider taking action in this way.

Advocate.

Support those on the front lines of orphan care by becoming an advocate. Our advocacy team stands by families taking part in foster care and adoption through providing practical, emotional, and spiritual support throughout the process. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
