Join THE FELLOWSHIP FAMILY
WHAT IS PARTNERSHIP?
Partnership is deciding to be “all in” at Fellowship. It’s making a commitment to become an active part of the Fellowship family, moving from consumer to contributor. It’s joining a family and joining means agreeing to serve together with us on mission.
Partnership is a biblical word. It is translated “fellowship”, “participation” or “communion” in the New Testament. The word expresses the idea of having something in common, joining in a mutual mission, and playing a role in this mission.
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” - Phil 1:3-5
SHARING GOSPEL COMMUNITY
We want to be a community that believes the power of the Gospel changes everything, and can change our city. This common theology leads us to common Gospel Community. Partnership requires that we share something in common and are on the same page theologically, and share that communally together.
JOINING IN A MUTUAL MISSION
As followers of Jesus we have been bought by His blood, justified by the finished work of Jesus. This work isn’t just so we can enjoy each other’s company. Our church exists to be missional people. To make the Gospel known in everyday life in our city and beyond.
YOU HAVE A PART TO PLAY
This mission requires all of us. No one person is the star, or has the skills and passion for this entire mission. Only together as individuals making up the body of Christ can we strive toward the mission. Partnership means discovering and utilizing your unique gifts and dreams for the mission of the Gospel.
WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS TO PARTNER?
1. Experience Fellowship: Be a regular part of our community by attending worship gatherings and joining a Gospel Community. If you have questions about Fellowship, stop by our Connect Table to speak with an elder or pastor, or feel free to contact us below.
2. Attend a Partnership Class: Sign up for and attend a partnership class. Stop by the Connect Table in the lobby to find out when the next one is scheduled.
3. Prayerfully Commit: After attending the class, speak to one of the elders about your desire to partner with Fellowship.
4. Go Public: A few weeks after participating in the class, we will have a “Partnership Sunday” where you go public with your partnership. On that Sunday you will stand up front with other new partners and be prayed for by the whole church.
